Filming locations

Georgia’s filming locations are spread across a surprisingly large area, and part of creating a great custom tour is choosing locations that work well together.  To make planning easier, we have labeled the locations listed below into North, South, East, and West areas based on the regions we cover.

As you browse the television shows and seasons below, you can use these regions to help decide which locations you’d most like to visit.  Because Y’allywood Tours offers customizable tours, you have the opportunity to help build an itinerary around the shows, seasons, and filming locations that interest you most.

For Half-Day Tours, locations should generally be selected from the same region. Combining locations from different regions can require significant driving time, leaving less time to actually explore and experience the filming locations.

For Full-Day Tours, we can cover a larger area, but we still recommend choosing locations that are in the same or nearby regions whenever possible.  Keeping your selections geographically close allows us to spend less of your tour on the road and more of it visiting the places you came to see.

The closer your location choices are to one another, the more filming locations we can usually fit into your tour.

Not sure which locations work well together? That’s okay! Tell us which shows, seasons, characters, or locations that are at the top of your list, and we can help put together an itinerary that makes the most of your available tour time.
